The Genesis of Pet Wants ATL North
The story of Pet Wants ATL North began with a passion for solving real problems and consistently showing up. Sergio, a lifelong dog lover, recognized the significant impact nutrition had on his pets’ health and longevity. With a 12-year-old English Mastiff, he understood firsthand how improved nutrition could extend a pet's vital years. In 2020, Sergio started Pet Wants in Alpharetta, aiming to provide purpose-driven services that strengthen the bond between pet owners and their animals.
Expanding and Growing
Despite the challenges that 2020 posed for many businesses, Pet Wants ATL North launched successfully as a mobile business and gradually expanded. Their participation in local events like the Alpharetta Farmers Market has helped them become a beloved community staple. Now, with a brick-and-mortar store and three additional locations in the Atlanta metropolitan area, Pet Wants ATL North has grown into a regional pet nutrition powerhouse.
Dispelling Dog Food Myths
Pet Wants ATL North aims to dispel common myths surrounding pet food. One of their core beliefs is that high-quality pet food is about preventative care rather than luxury. By helping pets eat better, they help owners avoid costly vet bills. Sergio and Nick emphasize the importance of transparency in ingredient sourcing, which is often obfuscated by clever marketing in the pet food industry.
Community and Commitment
Pet Wants ATL North is deeply rooted in the Alpharetta community. They pride themselves on their long-term relationships and trust-building initiatives. As proud sponsors of the Alpharetta Business Association, they have recently become the official dog food provider of the Atlanta Falcons.
